Cult & Culture

Jordan Dixon
For those of you who know me from my branded business, The Hood Enchantress, welcome—and thank you for your continuous support. And to those who are new here, hi! I hope this space offers insight into maintaining quality of life while preserving culture, honoring veneration, engaging in thought-provoking conversations, sharing recipes, and practicing practical magick—rituals often forgotten. I don’t know exactly where this space will take us (hence the name Midnight Society), but you’re in for a treat. This is a sacred space. Come in, get comfortable, and learn you somethin’. Lately, I’ve had the urge to write and create more. I know this is my first post, but I wanted to share this recipe with you all so you can make it for yourselves tomorrow (Thursday) and tap into the potent energy in the air right now. I’ve been sitting with myself, waiting for the right moment to start this Substack, and today just feels right. So here we are. When making this bath, I want you to set your mind on ease. Not an ease that leads to laziness, but an ease that brings clarity, solution-oriented thinking, and intentional action. This bath should be used over the course of seven days to fully experience its effects. Ingredients: Fresh Sage Fresh Rosemary Fresh Thyme Fresh Orange Peels Spring Water Hex-Breaking Spiritual Cologne or Florida Water Coconut Milk (preferably Goya or canned—make sure it’s real coconut milk) Seven ingredients over seven days to break up any stagnancy lingering in your energy field. This bath is designed to cleanse, uplift, and restore your vitality, helping you move with clarity and purpose.
